Abstract:

Dictation recorded, with explanatory notes, by Thomas Savage at Rancho San Isidro, near the San Gabriel Mission, Dec. 10, 1877.
Photograph and clipping pasted in.
Reminiscences of her life, first in San Diego, but chiefly in the vicinity of San Gabriel Mission. Notes on her family, associates, mission priests, particularly Frs. José Sanchez and Zalvidea. Recollections of songs and dances.
Corroborating statement signed by her daughter, Maria del Rosario de White, included.
Typed transcript. With copy of biographical note from H.H. Bancroft's Pioneer Register and an article, Jan. 12, 1878, from Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper.
